Night Flights

Some crew prefer overnight flights, because we get a crew rest of about 40 or 50 minutes at least. Some crew prefer day flights, because time seems to pass by faster.

Me? I'll take the night flights. Reason?? I get to see the stars and the sunrise.

It's amazing-- how those stars (and there are a lot when you're 35000 feet up in the sky) shine. It feels as though I can just reach out and touch them. It's THAT close.

And the sunrise-- you'll see the black sky turning blue-ish slowly, and then out of nowhere, a line of bright orange appears over the wing of the plane. Simply gorgeous.



(Ermm... The spots there are actually from the dirty airplane window...)
